The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA)after several months of consultations and perusing all documents available to them by the applicants who were seeking to occupy the vacant technical director position, are now set to appoint a heads to head its technical department.
After the veteran coach Oti Akenteng left the technical directorate as head in March, 2020, the position became vacant for likely applicants to vie for it. After months of proper scrutiny, the council is ready to appoint a Technical Director and Director of Coaches Education of the GFA.
Owusu Bempa Ayala, a sports journalist with Nhyira FM in Kumasi ,speaking on Nhyira power sports on Thursday 10th September,2020 disclosed that GFA is set to appoint a 58 years German, Bernhard Lippert as the Technical Director and Malik Jabir as Director of Coaching Education.
He further disclosed that the process is currently at the contract consideration level and if all parties agree on the contractual terms, it will be made official.
